Higashimotoko Shibazakura Koen Park
Higashimotokoto Shibazakura Koen Park is a flower park at the foot of Mt. Mokoto in Hokkaido. From early May to early June, the shibazakura cherry blossom fields turn the park into a sea of pink which contrasts with the bright blue sky. Don't forget your camera when visiting! Other activities at the park include renting go-karts to drive around the fields, fishing, and relaxing at an onsen (hot spring). There is also a camping site attached to the park where you can stay overnight. Those without their own tents can rent futuristic-looking bungalows which have their own kitchens and can house as many as 7 to 8 people.
