Lots of snack shops are selling small steamed buns (Xiaolongbao) in the main street of Chinatown. If you like this kind of snack, this spot is a must-go in Japan. There are various restaurants here. Most of them provide two regional cuisines in China, spicy Sichuan cuisine or Cantonese cuisine. Actually I don’t know whether they are authentic. But my friends told me you can find good spicy Chinese food here if you are lucky enough to enter the right restaurants. For me, the greatest thing is grocery stores in the side streets. You can find some Chinese snacks and sauces imported from China there. If you go this spot in holiday, it may be very crowded.

The largest Chinatown in Japan and one of the biggest in the world, this area offers quite a few activities. Over the last 150 years this area gone through quite a bit to arrive in the present day. Nowadays you can see the impressive gates over the main streets that mark the entrance to the Chinatown and a traditional Chinese temple. In addition, there are around 250 shops and restaurants so come here ready to make some gastronomical discoveries or simply enjoy Chinese food. Be sure not to miss this one when visiting Yokohama!
