Tachibana Museum
The Tachibana Museum is located in "Ohanabatake" which is a mansion where the Tachibana Daimyo Family, who ruled Yanagawa in the Edo Period lived. The museum includes over 5,000 items related to from 500 years of materials from the Daimyo regalia and modern count regalia from the Tachibana family such as documents, armor, tea ceremony goods, ‘Noh’ goods, calligraphy goods, etc. The museum opened in the fall of 1951 as the "Ohana History Museum" displaying the Tachibana family's numerous Daimyo regalia.
In other words, the preservation and display of the Daimyo regalia is an expert museum with a 62 year history. The numerous regalia and exhibitions from the successive lords are on display in a leisurely fashion, so please come and visit the museum.
