Fukuzenji Temple Taichoro
Fukuzenji Temple is a Buddhist temple in Fukuyama city, Hiroshima Prefecture and Taichoro is a famous pavilion that is part of its premises. Taichoro used to be a hall for distinguished guests of the temple in the Edo period (1600-1867) but it is now open to the public. The pavilion is beautiful in its own right, but it is most popular for its spectacular view of the Seto Inland Sea which has been lauded as one of East Asia's best views. Fukuzenji Temple is located in the famous Tomonoura area of Fukuyama which has been featured in movies such as Ponyo.
