Fuji Safari Park
The Fuji Safari Park is a wildlife enclosure located on the southern slopes of Mt. Fuji. About 70 species and over 900 animals roam among the extensive natural environment at the bottom of the mountain, making it one of Japan’s biggest safari parks.
The animals in the Safari Zone are housed in an environment simulated after their natural habitats, and range from Lions, Tigers, Cheetahs, Red Pandas, and more. You can take your time on the safari trail by either going by bus, car, or foot. There are even night safari excursions available!
Take a stroll through the Fureai Zone where you can observe animals like kangaroos, capybaras, and get up close to and even touch some of them! Afterwards, head over to the cafes and shops to enjoy an array of safari themed goods.
