Five Bridges of Amakusa
Beautiful Scenery
Free Admission
Five Bridges of Amakusa are a set of bridges that connect the mainland of Kyushu to the Amakusa islands, with many other beautiful islets scattered around along the way. A popular scenic route with locals, the route is also called the Amakusa Pearl Line due to Amakusa's history of pearl production, not to mention the string of islands connected by the bridges also looking like pearls. If you drive across the bridges and through the islands feel free to make regular stops to take in the beautiful scenery and you may also see wild dolphins swimming gracefully in the vicinity!
