Akita Art Village
Akita Art Village, located in the outdoors, is a place where you can fully enjoy the food and culture of Akita. At the "Warabi Theater," you can appreciate contemporary original theatrical works based on folk traditions, and experience making things by hand, such as woodwork and pottery at "Kogeikan." After you have had fun, you can relax at the hot spring facility "Onsen Yupopo" where you can spend the day or stay overnight. There is also a restaurant where you can enjoy food made from local, seasonal ingredients and the first local beer of Akita prefecture, "Tazawako Beer." In the corner of Art Village, there is a blueberry field, "Econiko Farm," wherein summer, you can taste freshly picked blueberries.
