Zao Fox Village
Zao Fox Village in Miyagi is the home to around 250 foxes of six varieties. This impressive range of animals makes it Japan’s largest fox-themed zoo. Among these, more than 100 foxes live free-range. Additionally, you will meet other small animals such as rabbits, goats and ponies here. In spring, the “hug a baby” experience is very popular. All foxes here are checked for Echinococcus disease. All in all, the Zao Fox Village is a very wholesome experience and is sure to be a new experience for those who haven't had a chance to interact with a fox before.
