Tsuyazaki Sengen is a historical district in Fukutsu city, Fukuoka Prefecture. Tsuyazaki is close to the sea, and the community flourished thanks to shipments of salt through the local harbor. While many of the older historical buildings burned down in fires that easily spread because of their close proximity, some old buildings, such as the Ai-no-ie, still remain.
