Tokyo Tower
The Tokyo Tower is a radio tower near Shiba Park in Tokyo, Japan. Constructed in 1958, it has become a symbol of Tokyo. The Tokyo Tower has a height of 333m and is one of the tallest self-standing steel constructions in the world. It was modeled after the Eiffel Tower in Paris but is actually 13m taller than the original. It used to be Japan's tallest building until it was overtaken by the Tokyo Skytree in 2012. Nonetheless, the two observation decks at the tower are still among the most popular in Tokyo and offer a great view of the city. On particularly clear days you may be able to see Mt. Fuji in the distance.

An iconic monument in Tokyo - The Tokyo tower is a site every tourist must visit. I believe you should save your trip for the night when the tower is illuminated as it makes for a lot better viewing. There are great photo locations from the park in front of the tower if you get off the train at Kamiyacho Station. Night viewing at the tower is also a lot less crowded so I recommend doing the deck view at this time as you almost have the tower to yourself!

It was a rainy day when I came here so I didn’t go to the deck. It is an attractive place for One Piece’s fan because of the theme park and goods shop here. And the street connecting Roppongi and Tokyo tower is a good shooting position if you want to take the photo of Tokyo Tower surrounded by high-rises and neon. One of the shortcomings I want to mention is that the souvenir shops and restaurants beneath the deck are not so unique. You can find them in any other tourist attractions.

Tokyo Tower has been thought to be the focal point of Tokyo and when you see it you’ll start to understand why, especially if you are visiting it at night, with a bright and colourful illumination juxtaposed against the dark night skyline, it truly is a majestic sight to behold and that’s just admiring it from the ground level. I bought a ticket to the main deck and once I had reached ascension I was greeted by gorgeous sweeping views of Tokyo. If you want to visit any kind of observation deck while you are in Tokyo then Tokyo Tower has to be it, with such a picturesque backdrop of the city while you are inside it and then coming out and admiring the beautiful architecture of the tower itself, this truly does make for a must do!

I actually visited Tokyo Tower for its indoor One Piece theme park called Tokyo One Piece Tower.
Tokyo One Piece Tower wasn’t super impressive, but I still recommend to visit here if you are a fan of One Piece.
Also, Tokyo Tower’s observation deck is good place to see Tokyo skyline.
