Tokyo Station
Tokyo Station is the central train station in Tokyo. It is a Tokyo landmark in its own right because its Western-style architecture has become a symbol of Japan's modernization in the 19th century. It represents the beginnings of modern Japan and the central place that Tokyo has occupied in this story. The station also houses the elegant Tokyo Station Hotel in its historic buildings. Tokyo station is not only a popular meeting spot because of its convenient access, but also because of the many restaurants and dining options in its vicinity. The area near the station is called Marunouchi and is not far from the Tokyo Imperial Palace.

Tokyo Station is one of Japan's iconic landmarks. In fact, the image of the building will be printed on the new 10,000-yen banknotes that will become available in 2024.
Its building has the most advanced seismic isolation devices in place. What are they like?
On the interior walls of its north and south domes are eight of 12 zodiac signs. What has become of the missing four signs?
I will talk about them in my tour.

Most beautiful and unique station in Tokyo. It’s unique because its architectural style is European style when it’s name is Tokyo Station. This station left me a big impression because although it’s one of the most crowded station in Tokyo, this station was so clean and organized. Not only inside of the station but also the outside. Tokyo is the cleanest mega city I’ve ever been to, and this place was the cleanest place in Tokyo. That explains how clean this place was.
Inside of this station is also AMAZING. There are so many restaurants and cafes inside. They also have anime merchandise stores that are categorized by TV stations that air anime.
Oh, this place is also very good for taking pictures.

If you have taken a shinkansen or simply travelled around Tokyo chances are you have already been to Tokyo Station. Rumoured to be modelled after the Amsterdam Centraal railway station, the station provides a pleasant backdrop to the entire business district. While pretty on the outside, the station is rather complicated to navigate and seems like a maze more often than not. Quite difficult to find but be sure to enjoy the ramen street that is located inside the station. Also check out the 2020 Olympics countdown clock right outside.
