Tambara Lavender Park of Gunma prefecture is a calming flower park. With some 50,000 lavender plants, it is easily the largest lavender park in the Kanto area. Bursting to life when the flowers are in bloom, many visitors come in to view the flowers and stay for a bite to eat at some of the local restaurants and food stalls. Make sure to try some of the lavender ice creams while you stop by.
