Lake Kinrin is famous as an illusory lake situated in Oita prefecture. “Shitan-yu” is a hot spring facility situated in a place adjacent to the lake. What stands out is its the exterior with a thatched roof (a Japanese traditional roof made of grass). There are indoor baths and semi open-air baths from which you can view Lake Kinrin in Yufuin.
