Shiroyama Park in Kagoshima prefecture is a hill with an altitude of 107 meters located in the center of the city. The park is a treasure trove of nature, with more than 600 species of plants such as large camphor trees, ferns, and coral trees growing naturally. The observation deck offers panoramic views over the city of Kagoshima and Sakurajima island. The park is also famous for its beautiful night views and is designated as a National Historic Landmark and Natural Monument.
