This place is quite near Ikebukuro station if you come out from the right exit. The food stalls in the roof provide various foods like udon, hamburger and bubble tea. I had a crepe here. It’s not bad but not surprising neither. I think the roof garden is a good place to relax with friends and family. Many seats are available. Greenery and flowers are enjoyable.

I had to stop by Ikebukuro Station a lot because this station is one of those big stations where everyone gets off to transit to different subway lines. This roof garden is on the top of Seibu department store which shares its basement floors with Ikebukuro station. There are lots of restaurants and cafes around this roof garden. So you can just chil at this place if you want to.It is a beautiful garden with amazing photo spots. Many families visit this roof garden so the ambience at this garden is very energetic, warm, and lively. If you want to experience some peace in middle of crowded subway station, just get to this roof garden. Just keep in mind that Seibu department stores has 3 different buildings, all connected together on several floors. This roof garden is located on the roof of the MAIN BUILDING.

This rooftop is a great place to visit, especially at night. The garden has fountains, a lily pond garden and plenty of flora. There is also a variety of food stalls available serving quality food from different cuisines. There are heaters so it’s still pleasant even when it’s cold outside. The place isn’t too busy and there is a lot of seating available. With beautiful greenery and lighting, it’s a nice ‘secluded’ escape from the busy city life of Tokyo.
