Sandanbeki Cliffs
The Sandanbeki Cliffs are bluffs along the south coast of Senjojiki that rise to heights of 50-60 meters. In the past, fishermen used the area as a midan platform to stand on and watch over marine boats and schools of fish. Currently, however, it has become a popular spot of scenic beauty, as the observation platform offers a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. In 2016 it was recognized as a Lover's Sanctuary, and around the observation deck are pink post boxes and a heart-shaped monument; many couple visit here wishing for happiness. Nearby the observation platform, visitors can descend 36 meters underground to see Sandanbeki Cave. Easily visited during the same trip, stopping by will definitely be worth your time.
