Sahoro Resort Bear Mountain
The Sahoro Resort Bear Mountain is a safari park where visitors can observe brown bears native to Hokkaido in an environment close to their natural habitat. Visitors can watch the bears at close range from the windows of a bear-watching bus or take relaxing walks on a trail through the park. Of course the lumbering bears are popular, but the chirping of small birds, Mt. Taisetsuzan looming in the distance, and the beautiful nature of Sahoro can all be enjoyed here. After observing the bears, don't forget to stop by the Hanamorikuma Cafe to have a taste of the popular Kuma-san Honey Toast.
