Murakami Kaizoku Museum
The Murakami Kaizoku Museum in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, is a museum with exhibits about the Murakami Kaizoku (Murakami Marine Force), who ruled the Seto Inland Sea during the Warring States period. The Murakami Kaizoku took on the role of protecting the safety of the sea as a militant group, but they they were also highly educated people of culture; at this museum, visitors will be able to learn about the many faces of the Murakami Kaizoku through valuable documents and artifacts. Visitors can also enjoy experiencing the atmosphere of the period when the Murakami Kaizoku were active by trying on armor and silk garments.
