Mt. Tanzawa
The Tanzawa Mountains are located in Kanagawa prefecture. Rich and vibrant in nature, you can experience a great variety of flowers in the spring. Whereas, in autumn, the foliage of the trees and the views of the snowy Mt. Fuji in the distance provide for a stunning view. The Tanzawa Mountains are great for hiking, with well-maintained paths. Moreover, the accessibility from the Tokyo area makes them even easier to visit. However, in winter when it snows heavily, and the mountains become covered in snow, it can become quite difficult to hike without proper equipment and training; as a rule, it's a poor decision to hike during this time.
