Miyakojima Marine Park
Miyakojima Marine Park is an establishment where visitors can observe fish swimming in their natural environment from a depth of three to five meters underwater, all without changing into swimming or diving attire. Beautiful underwater scenery that normally can't be seen without diving extends out from from 24 acrylic panel windows, and from them octopuses, sea snakes, and colorful tropical fish swimming gracefully can be seen. The kinds of fish that can be seen here changes depending on the time of day and the season; with a bit of luck, there might even be sea turtles. Not just marine enthusiasts, but people who don't care for swimming, small children, and the elderly can all enjoy a casual walk though the ocean at the Miyakojima Marine Park.
