Kakusenkei Gorge

Beautiful Scenery Insta-worthy
Family-friendly
Free Admission

Kakusenkei Gorge, which can be found in Ishikawa prefecture, is an extended gorge which runs through the Daishoji River. With a number of beautiful old bridges, such as the Kurotani bridge or the Korogi bridge, it certainly has a beautiful aesthetic. Just as memorable however is the Kakusenkei Kawadoko resting spot where you can procure high quality Japanese sweets, but note that it is only open through the months of April to October. Aside from its natural beauty, history fans will also find something to appreciate from the shrine commemorating the renowned ancient Japanese poet, Matsuo Basho.
