Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art
The Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art was renewed in 2002 by world renowned architect Tadao Ando into a multi-functional art museum in HAT Kobe. The spacious area in which the museum lays has an art information center, galleries, restaurants and cafes. Inside the galleries are over 10,000 different pieces with a emphasis on modern works related to Hyogo prefecture. There are also special exhibitions with hot topic art works from Japan and the rest of the world on display too. Also, around the building overlooking the sea, you find sculptures to enjoy from the outside too. Moreover, Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art doesn’t only display art, but hosts a plethora of events ranging from concerts, workshops, lectures and other information sessions that attract lots of visitors.
