Atomic Bomb Dome
A UNESCO World Heritage Site telling the modern world about the tragedy of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima City, the skeleton of the building used to be an Exhibition Hall to display various products made in Hiroshima. The building was near completely obliterated when an atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima (as well as Nagasaki) during the Second World War, in 1945. Now, the building has become a symbol to the world of the importance of the abolition of nuclear weapons and of permanent peace; a symbol begging for "no more Hiroshimas."

Hiroshima Prefecture is my hometown. Atomic Bomb Dome is in center of Hiroshima city. When I was junior high school student, I studied the World War Ⅱ. I would like you to visit this building and to think about peace. Of course, I think Atomic Bomb is only one side of the War, but we can re-consider the peace triggered by this monument. If you want to know what I think about nuclear weapon and peace, please contact me. I would like you to talk with cafe.
