Amagiso Ryokan
Amagiso is a ryokan (Japanese Inn) surrounded by nature, with a history dating back to the Showa Era. Due to its location in the middle of nature, there was a long period where the ryokan was closed because of damage from a typhoon, but the building has been renovated. The ryokan continues to evolve; the lobby has been rebuilt with Asian influences and rooms including kotatsu (Japanese feet warmer). Additionally, another feature of Amagiso is that you can enjoy over ten baths, both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor bath is unique and has the largest waterfall in the Izu area that you can experience with your own body. Overnight stays are recommended of course, but daily usage is also available and the indoor bath, the reserved bath, the outdoor bath and the pool (seasonal) can all be used. Face towels, bath towels, and swimsuits are available for rental.
