秋葉原ラジオセンター
秋葉原ラジオセンターは、東京・秋葉原電気街エリアにある家電の商店街です。パソコンの部品や工具などを販売する昔ながらの電気屋と、フィギュアやプラモデルといった新しい「アキバ」カルチャーの店舗が混在しています。
ラジオセンターの歴史は戦後の時代までさかのぼります。1950（昭和25）年、GHQ（第二次大戦後に連合国軍が日本に設置した総司令部）による露店撤廃令を受け、「秋葉原ラジオストアー」が設立されたのが始まりです。「秋葉原ラジオストアー」は2013年に閉店しましたが、隣接する「秋葉原ラジオセンター」は現在も営業しており、昭和の雰囲気を色濃く残しています。

The Akihabara Radio Center is a two-storey shopping center located under an elevated railway near the Electric Town entrance of Akihabara station and consists of small stores selling electronic components mainly for computers and radios. Often overlooked and kept in the shadows of Akihabara's "otaku" culture, the Akihabara Radio Center is the original heart of Akihabara as it was known as the "cyber-brain town" after WWII. A place for old-school electronics enthusiasts (I wasn't really one), I could only walk through the alleys and see the culture that has lasted since the late 1940's. Overall, a nice little trip back in time to Akihabara's past.
