Komei Tanaka runs Studio Tomoru located in Inami. As a wood carver, he makes seasonal dolls for festivals as well as original dolls with unique appearances. He also participates in workshops held at a lodging facility called Bed and Craft where visitors can apprentice to artists like himself and carve wooden spoons.
