- About Mediator
- I am Kumi, a licensed English-speaking guide and an interpreter in Mie Prefecture. I was born and raised in the Tokyo area, lived in Singapore for 7 years in total, but life changed drastically after my husband decided to become a Buddhist Priest in Mie. We relocated to Mie Prefecture in 2012 and since then, I have been running by the beach and swimming in the sea here, while focusing on guiding in Mie Prefecture, including Ise Jingu, ama huts in Ise-Shima area, and Ninja tours in Iga and Nabari. Mie is still not an area well-known to international travelers, but is an area with one-of-a-kind experience and exquisite food (seafood and premium beef)!
