- Hi everyone, my name is Lisa, I am a licensed guide approved by the Japan Tourism Agency offering tours about Japanese architecture, gardens and history. Being a foodie, I also love to share the Japanese food culture! I was born and raised in Osaka, the city of excitement and delicious food!! My wonder towards my own culture started when I was completing my bachelor degree in architecture in Kyoto and I started showing around Osaka and Kyoto's cultural properties for foreign travelers as a volunteer guide in 2009. After moving to Tokyo for work in a marketing and promotion field, I started my professional career as a government licensed guide in 2016. Now I am a full-time tour guide based in my hometown, Osaka, and also Kyoto and Nara where the center of Japanese historical architecture, art and crafts! I have met a lot of wonderful people through introducing beautiful cultural properties, and I will look forward to making many more friends :)
