- Hi! I'm Kachiko Sato. Just call me SATO_san. Sugar is called "sato" in Japanese, so I’m your sweet guide! I was born in Hong Kong and raised in Nara. After moving between Japan and US, I returned to Nara and started working as a travel guide. I love sports, especially skiing and golf, cooking, traveling, history, art, and kimono. As a national licensed English guide interpreter and Nara Prefecture certified guide, I will guide you through Nara, Kyoto, and Osaka with all my heart. Among the Kansai region, Nara is the birthplace of Japan, where precious cultural heritage and rich nature are protected. Highly recommended for those who like history and archeology, want to learn more about Japanese culture and Japanese identity, and just want to relax.
