Best places to see autumn leaves in Hokkaido and Tohoku region
The first place to see the peak season for the autumn leaves is Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan, followed by the Tohoku region.
In Hokkaido “koyo” season usually starts around the beginning of October, and for the Tohoku region, the middle of October.

#1 Shikaribetsuko lake (Hokkaido)
